'Dumb and Dumber To' Rumors: Jennifer Lawrence Cameo, Casting News, Plot Details Revealed

Filming for the highly anticipated sequel to the 1994 classic comedy "Dumb and Dumber" has begun. There also have been some big casting updates over the last few days. We already know the stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are reprising their roles as Lloyd and Harry along with the Farrelly Brothers as the directors of "Dumber and Dumber To." There is now news that "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence will have a cameo in the movie along with roles for Rob Riggle and Kathleen Turner. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Lawrence, who has claimed in the past that "Dumb Dumber" is her favorite comedy of all time, will play the role of Fraida Feltcher in a flashback scene cameo. Playing the role of Feltcher in the movie will be Kathleen Turner. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lawrence was filming the latest "Hunger Games" in Atlanta when she visited the set of "Dumb and Dumber To." While visiting, Lawrence was asked if she wanted to appear in the film and now fans get to see her as the younger version of Feltcher.

Another star joining the cast is funny man Rob Riggle who will play twins in the movie according to the Hollywood Reporter. Riggle will be playing a handyman named Travis and his twin brother Captain Lippencott.

Contact Music reports that the plot of "Dumb and Dumber To" will center around Lloyd and Harry reuniting 20 years later to go on another road trip. This time they will be searching for Harry's long-lost daughter to see if she will donate a kidney to Harry.
