Empire of the Sun have had a big 2013 with their new album Ice on the Dune being released back in June and now a major remix. Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore also have signed on to record the score for the highly anticipated sequel to "Dumb and Dumber." "Dumb and Dumber To" will see the return of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as Lloyd and Harry in what will be one of the more highly anticipated summer movie releases in 2014. With the task of recording the score for "Dumb and Dumber To" there is a good chance Empire of the Sun will have an even bigger 2014 than they did 2013. You know the build up to the sequel is going to be big with plenty of press and publicity, which will surely include Empire of the Sun.

Really, Empire of the Sun could just throw in the music they already have and the soundtrack would be complete. However, you know they will likely knock it out of the park when it comes to the score for the 2014 summer comedy. Who knows, maybe we will get to see cameos in "Dumb and Dumber To" from the band?
