There were a couple big boxing matches Saturday night that highlighted an entertaining night of fights. Adonis "Superman" Stevenson was very impressive in his TKO win over Tavoris Cloud in front of his hometown crowd in Montreal. However, there was some controversy involved with another fight last night. Julio Caesar Chavez Jr. defeated Brian Vera in a unanimous decision in 10 rounds. It was the backlash from fans and media over Chavez Jr.'s behavior before, during, and after the fight that made headlines. Keep reading for the full fight results from last night's boxing fights.

Stevenson, who is 22-1-0, looked great in the ring handling Cloud through seven rounds before the fight had to be stopped due to cuts over both of Cloud's eyes. Fans are now clamoring to find out who will be Stevenson's next fight. As the Washington Times notes, fans would love to see Stevenson face Russian Sergey Kovalev. However, it sounds like Stevenson may want to face the winner of Jean Pascal versus Lucien Bute first. Stay tuned.

There was yet another controversy in the boxing ring last night as a result of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.'s actions in Carson, California. Chavez Jr., who is 47-1-1, defeated Vera by a decision after being taken 10 rounds. The controversy began before the fight after a clearly out of shape and overweight Chavez Jr. showed up to fight. Then during the fight Chavez Jr. did nothing but complain to the ref and about the ref. His constant whining clearly got on the nerves of the fans and media. Meanwhile his opponent landed more punches overall and was clearly the more active fighter despite clearly being outweighed.

Chavez Jr. got away with a victory Saturday night, but its clear fans and the media weren't happy about it.
