Only eight days remain until Miley Cyrus' new album "Bangerz" hit stores, and in the modern music world, that means it's time for some leaks. Today (Sept. 30), a hotly anticipated track from the record hit the web, "SMS (Bangerz)" featuring Britney Spears. Though the version that has leaked is of very low quality, it does allow fans to get a real taste of "Bangerz"

"SMS" comes in it a short, snappy 2:50 and is the first true "banger" of the album (as opposed to the mid-tempo "We Can't Stop" and power ballad "Wrecking Ball"). The track begins with a melody similar to Salt n Pepa's "Push It" over a variety of club-inspired beats.

As opposed to the higher octave whines of "We Can't Stop" and the powerhouse performance in "Wrecking Ball," Cyrus' vocals in "SMS (Bangerz)" are all attitude. She isn't quite singing nor is she wrapping, but Cyrus is all attitude.

As for the Spears guest spot? She sings about having agrophobia and being taken away in a hearse, which would be dark material for a club smash, but is played off as yet another attitude-chocked line. Her vocals match those of Cyrus' almost all too well, chocked full of sassiness and something between talking, rapping and singing.

Listen to a leaked version of "SMS (Bangerz)" from "Bangerz" below.

While "SMS (Bangerz)" is the first track from the album to leak in full, it's not the first preview fans have gotten. Last week, snippets of "Drive," "Adore You" and "SMS (Bangerz)" leaked before previews of every song on the deluxe edition of the album hit the web on Sunday (Sept. 29).

As for the official release of "Bangerz?" The album is due out Oct. 8.
