Arguably the biggest game in college football this week is tonight's showdown between the fourth ranked Ohio State Buckeyes against the 16th ranked Northwestern Wildcats. It has been sometime since Northwestern has found themselves ranked this high, and the Buckeyes are once again reemerging as well under head coach Urban Meyer. Ohio State certainly has their eyes set on a possible national title game, but they will have their work cut out for them playing on the road at Ryan Field in front of what is surely going to be a loud and purple crowd. Both of these teams have impressive offenses, with the Buckeyes boasting the sixth ranked offense in college football averaging just over 48 points a game and the Wildcats ranked 20th averaging just over 41 points a game. The Buckeyes offense is dangerous and with quarterback Braxton Miller returning last week, they showed that they are nearly impossible to stop. Look for the Buckeyes to once again stretch the field and look to throw the ball deep with Miller.

On the other side of the ball; however, the Buckeyes will be shorthanded with the loss of safety and defensive leader Christian Bryant to a broken ankle. This could prove to be trouble for the Buckeyes, who will face a balanced Wildcats offense. Northwestern's already impressive running game will get an additional boost from the return of running back Venrick Mark.
