Lil Wayne, Mack Maine 'Original Silence' [LISTEN]

Lil' Wayne provides a brief glimpse into how he got elevated to top tier of the rap game before collapsing back in to his recent hindrance of groaner sex metaphors (mostly because the later verses are lifted directly from another song) on his latest "Original Silence (ft. Mack Maine)."

The track starts out promising with a couple of lines that follow a fashion theme and a couple of lines about his riches (which is about as tired a subject in rap as any, but when it comes to Weezy, at least it's not the P word).

The second verse and hook are questionable, not just for descending into questionable, graphic sex descriptions but for being lifted entirely from another song. Wayne has been known to repeat lines to the point that they become a sort of trademark, but I don't know if Tunechi's ever completely self-plagiarized. 

Both the hook and verse number 2 are from Wayne's song "Dark Shades." This is a sad, sad day, y'all.
