Jennifer Hudson appeared on Chelsea Handler's late night E! show "Chelsea Lately" and she was the latest victim of a wardrobe malfunction. Hudson was on "Chelsea Lately" Thursday night to promote her role as a drug addicted mother in the new movie "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete," which is out in theaters this weekend. When going to sit down to start her interview with Handler, it seems Hudson's skirt just popped open!
It seems that the zipper in the front of Hudson's skirt just popped open as Hudson went to sit down next to Handler. Luckily for Hudson, nothing was revealed as Handler frantically helped Hudson zipper up. Hudson got the best of both worlds as she didn't have to worry about any embarrassing pictures ending up online and she still got the headlines of a "wardrobe malfunction." As for the interview itself, Hudson made headlines when she told Handler that she has been sober her entire life. Hudson was explaining that her character in the movie is a heroin addict when Handler asked her if she had ever done heroin. It turns out that Hudson has never done anything!
If Hudson can play a drug addict successfully without ever even having a drink, she definitely deserves some credit for her performance. For those who aren't familiar with the movie "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete," it follows the story of two young kids in Brooklyn who need to fend for themselves because their drug addict mother (played by Hudson) can't hold down a job.
Hudson seemingly is doing well in her acting career, but what about music? Well, the singer told Rolling Stone in a recent interview that she expects to have a new studio album coming out in 2014. Hudson wouldn't go into a lot of details, but she did say Pharrell has done at least four tracks for the album.
