Taylor Swift is putting her fame and fortune to good use with the opening of the new $4 million Taylor Swift Education Center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Swift cut the ribbon on the music school in Nashville on Saturday, which according to MSN Entertainment, is meant to encourage students to improve their musical skills.

The music center will provide students with an abundance of classroom space, including a instrument room. This new venture will hopefully encourage area students to seek out more educational opportunities provided by the education center.

"I'm really excited about this music education center and the fact that right now they have three different classes going on today," Swift said (via MSN Entertainment) . "It's really exciting that we can be here on a day when they're not only unveiling it, but they're starting to actively use it today."

Swift will also be receiving her sixth songwriter-artist of the year award from the Nashville Songwriters Association International on Sunday, which will be a record. Let's not forget Swift is still just 23-years-old. This is an impressive honor for an artist of any age. Swift, at just 23, is has already accomplished so much in her young career.

Another exciting opportunity for students at the new Taylor Swift Education Center would be to actually get a lesson from Swift herself. This seems like a very likely option given her comments at the ribbon cutting.

"We've been talking about different programs I can be involved in," Swift explained (via MSN Entertainment). "I hate to call it a lecture because that sounds like I'm yelling at people, but we could do a Q&A talking to students here and a songwriters discussion would be really fun to have at some point." How is that for getting a music lesson?
