Sinead O'Connor really wants an apology from Miley Cyrus. The "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer has written a fifth open letter to the "Wrecking Ball" diva following comments Cyrus made about O'Connor's mental health and the troubled actress Amanda Bynes on Twitter.

For those not following the O'Connor/Cyrus feud, here's a quick recap... Following the release of Cyrus' controversial music video for "Wrecking Ball" -- inspired by O'Connor's hit "Nothing Compares 2 U" -- the Irish singer wrote a letter asking Cyrus not to exploit herself and become a slave to the music industry. Following the first letter, Cyrus posted two comments on Twitter referring to O'Connor's mental health and infamous 1992 Saturday Night Live performance, in which she tore apart a photo of the Pope John Paul II. Cyrus' comments about mental health led to O'Connor angrily demanding an apology from the notably flippant starlet.

Now, O'Connor has written a fifth open letter to Cyrus, asking for an apology about her comments regarding the mental health of herself and Bynes.

This time, O'Connor once again refers to Cyrus' recent appearance on The Today Show, wherein she asked host Matt Lauer if she and O'Connor were supposed to "kiss and make up" following their online feud.

Read O'Connor's full fifth open letter to Miley Cyrus below, via Just Jared:

"Dear Miley,

I hear you've asked 'Are we supposed to kiss?' .. when someone asked you would we 'make up.' No, worry not.. there's no need for kissing.. But let me state again.. You're supposed to apologise for the mocking of any person who sought help, publicly or privately, to prevent themselves from committing suicide.

You're also supposed to apologise for mocking people who are mistakenly or otherwise perceived to be mentally ill. Because what you did is extraordinarily dangerous as it contributes to the silences which allow suicide to flourish and also contributes to the bullying of people perceived mistakenly or otherwise to be mentally ill. That bullying causes suicides. That's what you're supposed to apologise. Its really very simple. People die every day because of the type of thing you did.

Its not that hard to say sorry. Doing so will save lives.

Sinead."

Cyrus has yet to respond to the open letter or apologize for her comments.
