Leonardo DiCaprio Dating Kat Torres RUMORS: Brazilian Model Lies about 'Secret' Relationship with 'Great Gatsby' Star for Media Attention? [PHOTOS]

Apparently, Leonardo DiCaprio's currently dating Brazlian model Kat Torres. The two met at the annual Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, and immediately hit it off. According to the stunning 25-year-old blonde, the 38-year-old "Great Gatsby" star wants their relationship to remain totally secret. Meanwhile, a rep for Gossip Cop insists that DiCaprio never even hung-out with Torres on a one-to-one basis...

Here's what Torres recently told the popular Brazilian newspaper Extra:

"Leo is amazing... I met him in Cannes. We were staying at the same house... But I worry about what he will think about me talking to you. We have a pact that nothing can ever be said about our relationship. In Europe it is different. People see us together in many places so they do not need to ask us about anything."

Rumors of a budding romance surfaced after photos of the "couple" walking together through the crowd at Cannes started going viral.

"I really don't know how the photographers got the picture because we were well guarded and no-one could come close in any circumstances." Torres continues, "[He] doesn't like being photographed and barely goes out walking once people have realized it's him."

But... here's the catch. A rep for DiCaprio insists that the two are definitely NOT dating! According to Gossip Cop, the duo did meet quickly last spring at Cannes, but they were hanging out with different groups of people. They allegedly haven't seen each other since.

Another insider tells Metro, "Leonardo met her once with dozens of people five months ago. They aren't dating. Kat is trying to get coverage."

DiCaprio's known to date some pretty gorgeous women... he once dated models Gisele Bündchen and Bar Refaeli, among many others.
