Less than one week ahead of the release of Katy Perry's new album, "Prism," a song from the "Roar" singer's third studio effort has leaked. In the early hours of Oct. 16, "Legendary Lovers" popped up on various Tumblr blogs, giving fans a fourth sneak peek (and the first unofficial one) of "Prism."

"Legendary Lovers" is the first full song from "Prism" to leak in some time. However, the record's lead single "Roar" was unleashed into the world early due to a leak back in August. The newest song to be heard is the fifth full track the general public has heard from "Prism." Besides "Roar," Perry released the powerful "Dark Horse" (feat. Juicy J) and the atmospheric "Walking on Air" as a part of a Pepsi/VMAs promotion; she also performed the vulnerable Russell Brand inspired track "By the Grace of God" at the iTunes Festival.

The new song differs instrumentally from the previous four songs from "Prism," particularly through its Bollywood influence - most obviously heard in the musical breakdown halfway through the track. But, that by no means says the song doesn't fit on the album. "Legendary Lovers" holds a similar tempo and build to "Roar," likely a reflection of Dr. Luke's producer's hand and songwriting.

Perry's vocals remain strong on "Legendary Lovers," showing how far she has come since her "One of the Boys" days. She winds through the track going from breathy sighs to strong crescendos in the chorus.

The second official single from "Prism" will be "Unconditionally." The album will be released Tuesday, Oct. 22.
