Lady Gaga, The Muppets Muppets Recorded Christmas Special for ABC: Variety Show will be 'Applause' Singer's Second Holiday TV Program [VIDEO]

Have yourself a merry little Gaga! According to E!, Lady Gaga has filmed a holiday special with the Muppets, set to be aired on ABC just in time for Santa and Rudolph to make their way to America.

According to E!, the Christmas special was shot in Los Angeles recently. Other details are being kept tightly under wraps, but typical holiday variety show fare, including new Christmas music, comedy sketches and celebrity guests.

This will be Gaga's second holiday special for ABC. In 2011, she hosted A Very Gaga Thanksgiving, which featured the Mother Monster covering "White Christmas" and Nat King Cole's "Orange Colored Sky." Tony Bennett, Katie Couric and Art Smith made guest appearances on the special.

Just how this isn't Gaga's first holiday special for ABC, it also isn't her first time kicking it with the Muppets. Kermit the Frog famously accompanied her to the 2009 VMAs. Later, he was her outfit on a German television show. Gaga was also reportedly supposed to appear in The Muppets film in 2011, but was ultimately cut from the film.

The Lady Gaga and Muppets special has yet to receive an airdate.

The holiday show will come in the wake of Gaga's upcoming third studio album, "Artpop," due out Nov. 11. Fans can surely expect live performances of tracks from the album, including lead single "Applause" and the upcoming release "Venus."

Yesterday (Oct. 15), Gaga announced the "Venus" release date has been pushed up two days. The song is now due out Oct. 25.
