Metallica To Perform In Antarctica

Metallica are all set to put on a show in the frozen wastes of Antarctica. The show will take place sometime between December 2 and 15 and may just be the most metal thing ev- *checks the poster, sees that it is sponsored by zero calorie cola Coke Zero* - never mind.

"There's a very interesting thing coming our way in December," Lars Ulrich told a San Francisco radio station earlier this year. "There's another frontier heading in METALLICA's direction in December. Which, if anybody (at the band's management) even knew that I just said what I just said, they would hunt me down and silence me. But there is another frontier coming in December, which we're very excited about."

Coca-Cola hosts an annual expedition to the frozen continent and helped to build an education center called the E-Base there.
