Katy Perry is used to number one hits on the Billboard charts. The pop superstar most recently reached the peak of the Hot 100 with her self-empowerment anthem "Roar." Now, she is set for yet another topper with her third studio album Prism. According to Billboard, Perry is aiming for a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 next week.

Prism is due to sell roughly 275,000 copies in its first week, aiming Perry for the biggest female debut of the year. Until Perry reaches that mark, Miley Cyrus' Bangerz claims that title. The "Wrecking Ball" album sold 270,000 copies upon its release Oct. 8.

The strength of Prism's opening numbers come not only from Perry's name but from the high performance of the album's lead single and teaser tracks. Led officially by "Roar" and unofficially by "Dark Horse" (feat. Juicy J) and "Walking On Air," Prism tracks have thus far been hits with fans and critics alike.

Perry's promotional push has likely helped to aid Prism as well. The singer recently performed on Saturday Night Live with fascinating backdrops and elaborate choreography.

Additonally, the Billboard 200 topping of Prism should come as no surprise, as Perry is by far the biggest name in music to have released an album on Tuesday (Oct. 22). Other releases included Toby Keith's Drinks After Work and rockers AFI's Burials.
