For the fourth week in a row, Lorde's hit single "Royals" remains no. 1 on Billboard's "Hot 100." But it turns out that Detroit rapper Eminem currently rules digital downloads this week with his fiery new song "Rap God." Slim Shady kicked Lorde down to the no. 2 spot. So... let the battle of the charts begin!

The 16-year-old New Zealand songstress continues making history with her catchy pop tune "Royals." Four solid weeks reigning supreme on "Hot 100" - that is the longest run by a female act this year (Pink hit no. 1 for three weeks back in spring for “Just Give Me a Reason”). But Lorde was knocked down a notch this week in digital downloads... thanks to Slim Shady. In it's first week alone, "Rap God" garnered 270,000 downloads. The new MMLP2 single opened at no. 7 on "Hot 100." Meanwhile, "Royals" secured a solid 256,000 downloads last week.

Lorde's debut album Pure Heroine was released in the US on September 30. Shady's highly-anticipated eighth studio record MMLP2 hits stores November 5.

Lorde took over the charts with her award-winning song "Royals" - will Eminem do the same once his new album is released?

In the meantime, check out this remix of "Royals" with Shady's hit song "Love the Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna. Youtube user odidj posted the clip last week. Do fans dig it, or is the beat just off?

Perhaps a real Eminem and Lorde collaboration would do the trick.
