Mary McCormack Dumps Michael Morris? Actress Allegedly Wants Split From Cheating Husband After He Kissed Katharine McPhee

That didn't take long. Mary McCormack has allegedly kicked her cheating husband, Michael Morris, out of the house according to Life & Style. It seems all too often that cheating spouses in Hollywood get second and third chances as their partner puts up with their behavior. This isn't the case with actress Mary McCormack. Morris was photographed kissing his "Smash" colleague Katharine McPhee. Now, it appears McCormack and Morris' marriage is over.

There has been no official statement released from either side yet, so these are all just rumors or claims from sources. Life & Style's source says McCormack, "is beyond furious and is absolutely devastated." Unlike McPhee, who reportedly already split from her husband before she was seen kissing Morris, McCormack and her director husband were still together. The source goes on to tell Life & Style that Morris wants to try and keep the marriage together and make it work, but McCormack wants to split up.

"Only time will tell if Michael and Mary can make things work and get over this," the source says. "He loves Mary and is so sorry about what he's done."

Sadly, McCormack and Morris' kids are the ones who will have to suffer through this very public breakup. "They've been together for more than 10 years and always had such a solid marriage," an insider tells the magazine. "They have three daughters, so it's incredibly sad. He wants to keep the family together, but as far as Mary is concerned, it's over. There's no going back."

It does actually seem rare for spouses to immediately kick out their cheating partners in Hollywood. However, once is clearly enough for McCormack. The 44-year-old actress is best known for her role playing Howard Stern's wife in the movie "Private Parts." She also was in popular TV series such as "In Plain Sight," "ER," and "The West Wing."
