Skank-popper Ke$ha is officially banned from performing in Malaysia, according to TMZ. The "Tik Tok" singer was scheduled to perform in the notoriously conservative country tonight, but her performance application was denied.

According to the gossip website, Ke$ha was willing to comply with the requests of the government to change wardrobe decisions and song lyrics that promoted anti-conservative ideas, but Malaysian officials decided to cancel the performance outright.

TMZ reports that an unnamed rep for the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia, which handles performance applications, said that Ke$ha's act was halted due to "reasons of religion and culture."

Previously, Malaysia famously banned pro-LGBT artist Lady Gaga and altered the lyrics to her single "Born This Way."
