Week eight of the 2013 NFL season is here! Sunday is the halfway point of the season for many NFL teams. There are some intriguing matchups this week, including a few big divisional games. On "Monday Night Football" the Seattle Seahawks will face the St. Louis Rams. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins will face off and try to bounce back from week seven losses. On "Thursday Night Football" the Tampa Bay Buccaneers disappointing season continued after they were blown out by the Carolina Panthers.

There are a number of teams with byes this week. The Ravens, Bears, Texans, Colts, Chargers, and Titans all have the week off. There are two games to watch this week. First, the Dolphins and Patriots will play in a divisional game that could have a big impact on the AFC East. The Dolphins have lost three straight after winning their first three games. This is a must win game for the Dolphins in order to remain in the AFC East title picture and to remain relevant in the division. Also, if the Dolphins win, they could potentially knock the Patriots out of sole possession of the first in the AFC East.

This brings me to the second biggest game this week. Yes, the New York Jets have a winning team through the first seven games of the season. No one expected it, but it's happening. The Jets and Cincinnati Bengals will play in a game no one probably figured would mean much before the season. However, the 5-2 Bengals are in first in the AFC North and seem like a real playoff threat. What fans need to watch for; however, is if the Jets win and the Patriots lose, they both will be tied in first in the AFC East. Who expected that after the halfway point of the season?

There are a number of ways for fans to follow Sunday's games. Obviously there are always the local TV and radio channel options. The best way to watch all the games at once on TV is on the RedZone channel. Unfortunately, this is not an option for everyone. On the radio dial, if you have SiriusXM, the NFL package is the best bet to keep track of all the games.

For fans who just want to follow the game online, there are a number of websites that do a capable job of keeping fans updated on the latest scoring. NFL.com has their own game center tracker you can use. ESPN.com, SI.com, and FoxSports.com also all have their own scoreboard options that are more than capable of keeping you updated on the games.
