Celine Dion is NOT dead! A morib death hoax recently went viral on the web, insisting that the 45-year-old Canadian songstress died in a tragic plane crash at Denver Peak-Regional Airport. Thankfully, these bogus reports currently circulating on Facebook are NOT true. Mstars fans - do not click on any social media apps stating "RIP Celine Dion" - they're most likely just scam!

Here's the disturbing (false) report that resurfaced on Facebook just last week:

(Hollywood Breaking News) – R.I.P Celine Dion

At about 11 a.m. ET on Sunday (October 20, 2013), Celine Dion died in a plane crash. Celine died today at “Denver Peak-Regional Airport” in a small private aircraft in distress ceased radio contact with the control tower and fell below radar frequency after reporting engine trouble and smoke in the cockpit. Actress, Celine Dion was believed to have been a passenger on the flight. Raw footage of her accident has been recorded and leaked to Fox Exclusive News but cannot be broadcasted over the air so it was uploaded via the internet for the public to view. Due to the graphic content of this video, please be advised 18+ only. Watch the Full Exclusive Plane Crash Accident Video here.

ANOTHER bogus report (allegedly from Fox News) claims that Dion passed away in a freak car accident:

R.I.P. Celine Dion 1968 - 2013:

Investigators have told reporters that Celine Dion lost control while driving a friend's vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing her instantly. The vehicle was believed to have been traveling at approximately 95 miles per hour in a 55mph zone at the time of the accident.

Fact - the "My Heart Will Go On" songstress is still very much alive and well. Just last Sunday (the same day she apparently died) Dion released her new song "Incredible" featuring Ne-Yo:

Several Twitter fans have since responded to these morbid "RIP" claims:

@allieraepaulson: "Whoever started the rumor that Celine Dion was dead deserves to be..."

@WoahItsRina: "OMG IS WHAT I JUST READ REALLY TRUE?! Celine Dion died?! Omggggg!!!! RIP you will be missed! I don't want that to be true!"

@MrsJeanetteW: "Celine Dion is NOT dead - don't fall victim to the hoax...she didn't have a wreck or die or crash... it is SPAM!"

@GYMNOJEN: "Has anyone else heard that Celine Dion died? Makes me sad. Her heart will go on. #RIP."

@sassshavb: "DO NOT joke about Celine Dion being dead."

True... because spreading lies about someone (famous or otherwise) tragically dying is NOT funny. Dion is still very active on Twitter, and her new album Loved Me Back to Life hits stores November 5.

Repeat - Celine Dion is NOT dead. Don't believe everything Facebook tells you...
