50 Cent has avoided jail time by copping a plea in his domestic violence/vandalism court case. The rapper was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic violence and four counts of misdemeanor vandalism after getting in a massive fight with Daphne Joy, the mother of his second child, in June.

However, 50 has struck a deal with prosecutors: if he pleads no contest to one count of vandalism, all other charges will be dropped.

50 was sentenced today to 3 years probation and 30 days of community service. He has also agreed to attend counseling sessions and pay $7,100 in restitution to Daphne.

A judge granted Joy a restraining order against 50 and that remains in effect, but the man credited with revitalizing the genre of gangsta rap will avoid jail time.
