It's obvious that Kanye West is head over heels in love with his new fiancée Kim Kardashian, but in a new interview with Ryan Seacrest (via E! Online), the Yeezus rapper thinks she's more influential than first lady Michelle Obama and the she deserves to be on the cover of fashion magazine Vogue.

"There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue. She's like the most intriguing woman right now. She's got Barbara Walters calling her like every day," West said before comparing himself and his future bride to President Barack Obama and his wife. ""And collectively, we're the most influential with clothing. No one is looking at what [Barack Obama] is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day."

While something makes it seem like the Obamas are less concerned about magazine covers and fashion as West and Kardashian, Mrs. Obama has been featured on the cover of Vogue twice, once in March 2009 and again in April 2013.

Meanwhile, Kardashian has yet to grace to cover of the influential 'zine. This is likely due to her roots as a reality TV star, a profession not quite up to Vogue editor Anna Wintour's standard. Kardashian's lack of Vogue covers is something the rapper called "classist" (although Kardashian is still among a very elite group of wealthy celebrities).

In the end, it's nice that West stands up for his woman, but Kardashian may just not be up to par.
