Reports confirm that Chris Brown voluntarily entered a rehab facility in LA earlier this week for help with his anger management issues. A rep for the X crooner released this official statement:

"His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."

This announcment comes just days after Breezy was arrested for a violent altercation against 20-year-old Isaac Adams Parker in Washington, DC. Rihanna's 24-year-old ex was ultimately charged with misdemeanor assault.

Here's what Twitter fans are saying about Brown's stint in rehab... some people aren't taking it very seriously, while others hope for the best:

@GuyEndoreKaiser: "Chris Brown is probably only going to rehab because he heard you're allowed to beat your addictions there."

@JennyJohnsonHi5: "Chris Brown entered rehab. I sincerely hope he gets the help he desperately needs. #SeriousTweet."

@DamienFahey: "Chris Brown got sent to rehab. I would make a joke about this but rehab is a very serious publicity move."

@UncleRUSH: "My prayers are with Chris Brown..."

@LaurenSivan: "Chris Brown is in rehab? Talk about a misdiagnosis."

@KellyKelLevy: "Chris Brown has entered rehab. Oh no! Do the other patients know?"

@ForeverKelseyy: "Chris Brown getting arrested actually was a blessing in disguise. He clearly needs help/guidance & now he'll get it in rehab. Good for him."

Stay tuned as more details develop.
