Robert Pattinson broke things off romantically with "Twilight" sweetheart Kristen Stewart earlier this year. But according to recent gossip reports, the two Hollywood exes still talk all the time! In fact, R-Patz goes to K-Stew for career advice - she's the one that told him to NOT play Christian Grey in E.L. James' kinky film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey!" Will Robsten get back together soon?

The 27-year-old British heartthrob and 23-year-old "SWATH" starlet went through some rough patches in their longterm relationship, but apparently neither one is bitter about it. Right now, the two continue "leaning on" each other for support and they actually talk quite often. An alleged source for Yahoo OMG! explains, "They're good friends... And still leaning on each other and talking every day."

Would fans be happy if Robsten reconciled? Apparently R-Patz still needs some time, but who knows what the future holds... especially since he takes K-Stew's opinions to heart.

Rumors suggest that Pattinson was one of E.L. James' top choices to play Christian Grey opposite Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele in "Fifty Shades," but Stewart told him NOT to take the part:

"Kristen told him 50 Shades would be a disaster for him," the insider continues. "He's haunted by Twilight and being too identified with that role, taking 50 Shades would mean a worse label for the rest of his career... Rob admires Kristen and if she had said 'go for it' he would seriously have swung his heavy schedule around to make it work. Kristen told him that creatively, he shouldn't do it, but if it's about fame and money, he should. She told him he had to make the choice between the two, but warned that it would stick with him."

Do Mstars readers think R-Patz (and K-Stew) made the right choice?
