Rick Rubin fixes 'terrible' Linkin Park/Steve Aoki remix

Oh, lawdy lawd. There's a song in there somewhere. Recharged, Linkin Park's effin' hot mess of a remix album (that pulls from an album no one bought in the first place), gets a bit of a boost via this Rick Rubin remake of Linkin Park/Steve Aoki's "Light That Never Comes."

 

Those isolated and slightly pitch-shifted vocals really accentuate how annoying Chester Bennington's vocals can be but beyond that, Rubin trades in the embarrasing, pandering dubstep of the orginal for a tribal remix track that isn't half bad.
