The hotly anticipated music video for One Direction's new single "Story Of My Life" has leaked. After being teased with a 17-second video and a series of photographs yesterday (Oct. 31), the highly emotional video hit the web today (Nov. 1) in a low quality version.

Though the original leak has since been removed from YouTube, fans watching the video have recorded the clip and have since uploaded even lower quality versions of the video on YouTube. Despite the leak being quickly handled and versions being of low quality, the highly emotional nature of the clip shines through.

Each member of One Direction is in a photography darkroom, developing old pictures featuring their beloved family members. As the images begin to reveal themselves, new versions of the pictures featuring grown up versions of those originally photographed emerge, showing that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

As the 1D boys interact with their family and loved ones, things get emotionally charged. A particularly poignant moment is in Louis Tomlinson's photograph. As his image ages, two family members disappear, signifying loss and creating quite a sad moment.

Despite premature versions of the video hitting the web, it seems as though the original roll out plan for the music video has not been disrupted. After being made alert of the leaked footage, One Direction's official Twitter posted: "TWO DAYS TO GO!! #StoryOfMyLifeVideo = OFFICIALLY out Sunday 4pm GMT." With that, a high quality 18-second teaser was released, similar to yesterday's snippet offering.

"Story Of My Life" is the second single from One Direction's upcoming album Midnight Memories.
