Saturday evening the Tennessee Volunteers travel to Missouri to try and upset the No. 9 ranked Missouri Tigers. The Tigers are coming off a tough overtime loss at the hands of the South Carolina Gamecocks. Can they bounce back? They better, because another loss this week to the 4-4 Volunteers will surely knock the Tigers out of the top 15.

The big storyline heading into Saturday's SEC matchup is whether or not the Tigers can bounce back after a difficult loss to the Gamecocks. A potential undefeated season was ruined last week, but the Tigers need to make sure a national title game shot isn't completely ruined as well.

The fact is, Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks are a much more difficult opponent than the Volunteers. Tennessee is just 1-3 in SEC games this season and they are giving up nearly 30 points a game. The Volunteers spotty defense combined with the Tigers high powered offense makes this game a potential blowout.

Tennessee is dealing with the loss of quarterback Justin Worley and unfortunately for them, they don't have nearly as dangerous a backup as the Tigers. Missouri starting quarterback James Franklin likely will be sitting again Saturday night, but Maty Mauk has proven to be a more than capable backup. Mauk struggled badly last week against South Carolina, but he will be going up against a much easier defense this week. Mauk doesn't need to be spectacular for Missouri to win.

Saturday night's game starts at 7pm ET at Faurot Field in Missouri and will be broadcast on ESPN. Fans can watch the online stream via WATCHESPN. Meanwhile, OddsShark has Missouri as 13 point favorites at the opening. I see the Tigers coming out very motivated after last week's loss and winning big. I think Missouri ends up winning big behind their high powered offense.
