Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth: 'Bangerz' twerker pens emotional letter, apologizes to ex for raunchy behavior, ready to get back together?

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth officially called-off their engagement a few weeks ago. Since then, the Bangerz songstress continues focusing on her music and crazy party lifestyle. But according to a recent report in The Sun, 20-year-old Cyrus actually feels pretty bad about hurting her ex-fiance with such raunchy public behavior. In fact, she even wrote the "Hunger Games" heartthrob an emotional letter apologizing for her "embarrassing" actions. Read on for more details.

Cyrus and Hemsworth are not longer dating, but the two young Hollywood stars were romantically involved for over four years. Apparently that emotional attachment ran very deep, and Cyrus actually regrets driving a wedge in their relationship with her rather shocking and scandalous escapades over the past year.

An alleged source for The Sun explains, 'She thought about writing some songs, but then decided why not write a letter to Liam to tell him exactly how she feels. Miley admitted to Liam she has pushed him away and said sorry for acting so mad... Miley says in her letter she still loves Liam deeply and has asked him to meet up. It could be for closure or it could be to start again, but she just wants to see him and talk things through."

Apparently, Cyrus now realizes that Hemsworth's nearly two-month absence in her life is actually heartbreaking. Maybe she even wants to get back together...
