Do you remember when the casting call sheet for Star Wars Episode VII came out earlier this year and pretty much everyone thought that the film would focus on Jacen and Jaina Solo? There were even some mentions of Luke Skywalker's kid(s) being thrown into the mix, too! Well, sorry to burst your bubble but a brand newer casting sheet might have ruled out those characters completely from J.J. Abrams' new film.

First of all, Lawrence Kasdan (screenwriter for the upcoming movie as well as The Empire Strikes Back) has said time and time again that the Episode VII would not take characters from the Extended Universe book series. This means no Solo or Skywalker kids. So it looks like Kasdan's claim is becoming true!

According to a new Disney casting call happening in the United Kingdom, an orphaned female and a fatherless boy are the leads for this film. Numerous websites and sources have confirmed that this call sheet is for Star Wars.

Check out the call sheet HERE, but we will provide the information from it below.

The female character, Rachel, is described as "quite young when she lost her parents. With no other family, she was forced to make her way in a tough, dangerous town. Now 17 she has become street smart and strong. She is able to take care of herself using humor and guts to get by. Always a survivor, never a victim, she remains hopeful that she can move away from this harsh existence to a better life. She is always thinking of what she can do to move ahead."

Meanwhile the male character, Thomas, is described as having "grown up without a father's influence. Without the model of being a man, he doesn't have the strongest sense of himself. Despite this he smart, capable and shows courage when it is needed. He can appreciate the absurdities in life and understands you can't take life too seriously."

What do you think of these casting details? Do these characters seem like good choices for the next Star Wars movie? Share your thoughts below!
