Britney Spears 'Alien': producer William Orbit talks new album

Details surrounding Britney Spears' latest album Britney Jean have been relatively sparse, so it's nice to hear any news surrounding the project. Producer William Orbit recently spoke on the new album (and his contribution "Alien") to NME.

"I've done one song for the new album, called 'Alien', which is really good," says Orbit. "I'll be in Vegas, seeing the show. I've become a huge fan of hers, actually. I always liked her, but when I started to dig into her repertoire - and there's masses of it - I became a superfan, really. You'll find me in the audience singing along."

Britney has been relatively tight-lipped about the album, but did pen an open letter to her fans describing the effort's more personal themes.

We can take solace that no matter how the album turns out, it will almost certainly do a great job of scaring Somali pirates.
