Everyone is talking about Jennifer Lawrence's pixie cut, but the hair trend of the season is already here: the long blunt. We just talked about Jennifer Aniston's new bob. Aniston was inspired by Vogue stylist Lawren Howell's hair, and then went even shorter. She's not the only star rocking a blunt cut.

Who's been wearing it: Olivia Munn and Nicole Richie have perfected the sleek blunt look before. Mary-Kate Olsen is a fresh example of a shoulder-length blunt with a beachy wave vibe similar to model Karlie Kross' hair. As a face of the Olsen twin brand, Mary-Kate has become a fashion and beauty icon. The 27 year-old actress recently told Women's Wear Daily, "I don't think it ever felt like we were actresses, because we spent so much more of our time not in front of the cameras, building a brand." Starting this hair trend for the winter could add to her long list of fashion and beauty inspirations.

How to style: Director of Salon Education and Stylist for Cutler Salon, Timothy Wandrey, weighs in on how to pull off this hair cut yourself. Wandrey advises striving for hair textures at either end of the spectrum. Go with loose beach waves, or completely straight and sleek. "Anything in-between risks looking like the dreaded mom-bob," Wandrey says.

Why: Blunt cuts give the illusion that hair is fuller and healthier. And a lot of times, it is healthier. In Aniston's case, one reason she cut her locks was to get rid of damaged hair from coloring and other processes.

Why now: It's ideal for cold weather, when there is less humidity and it's easier to style without looking too triangular," says Wandrey.

Longer faces could: Try adding some layers around the cheeks to make the face appear wider.

Round faces could: Keep hair one length, to make the face appear longer than it is.

What do you think of this hair trend? Which star's 'do are you eyeing this season?
