BBC America does things differently than other television stations, so it's no surprise the award show they're hosting this Sunday is unconventional: the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards. At the Britannia Awards "nobody loses, everybody celebrates." BAFTA stands for The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles, but they will be acknowledging a diverse group of people in the entertainment arts, aside from talented Brits. IndieWire gave a rundown of who will be honored this weekend.

George Clooney - the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film
Sacha Baron Cohen - the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy
Kathryn Bigelow, The Hurt Locker director - the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing
Sir Ben Kingsley - the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment
Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek Into Darkness; The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) - the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year

Finally, Idris Elba (Prometheus; Pacific Rim) will receive a special BAFTA LA Britannia Humanitarian Award. Gary Dartnell, Charmain of the BAFTA Los Angeles said he "has used his success in film and television to turn the spotlight towards a very deserving cause. His work with the Prince's Trust for disadvantaged youth is highly commendable, and in complete accord with BAFTA Los Angeles' own work in the inner city."

Funds from the night go toward BAFTA Los Angeles' projects for education and community outreach.

The website has announced special presenters: Sigourney Weaver, Julia Roberts, Ralph Fiennes, Sean Penn, Judd Apatow, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jennifer Ehle and Alice Eve. Actor and comedian Rob Brydon will host.

Will you tune in? Who will you be watching for?
