The highly anticipated sequel to "Dumb and Dumber" is still filming, but there are plenty of news and rumors surrounding the film. "Dumb and Dumber To" is rumored to have a release date for some time in the summer of 2014. The original cast of characters, including Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, along with directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly are all back. However, there is also an exciting cast of actors and actresses slated to be appearing in the sequel that weren't in the first film.

The sequel has been 20 years in the making, but based on early reports, it sounds like the wait will be worth it for fans of the original movie. Jennifer Lawrence has already been confirmed to appear in the film as a younger Fraida Felcher. Lawrence has said in the past she is a fan of "Dumb and Dumber" and having her in the sequel, even in a small role, is a great addition. Fraida Felcher herself will be played by Kathleen Turner. Also, according to the film's IMDB page the very funny Rob Riggle will have a role in the film as a character named "Travis."

Meanwhile a couple very popular characters with smaller roles in the original movie are expected back for "Dumb and Dumber To." Billy the blind kid, played by Brady Bluhm is expected to have a role in the new film along with former NHL player Cam Neely as Sea Bass.

"Dumb and Dumber To" has reportedly been filming in Atlanta, with Access Atlanta reporting that the cast just recently finished filming at the Gwinnett Center Performing Arts Center. The cast has reportedly shot scenes in Duluth, Marietta, Stone Mountain, Cabbagetown, Brookhaven, and Grantville.

In other "Dumb and Dumber To" news, director Peter Farrelly told HuffPost Entertainment that he feels people will be clamoring for a third movie after seeing the sequel. "Things that are funny on paper are three times funnier when those guys are doing it," Farrely explains. "The nuances and looks and intonations -- the two of them are geniuses. When we put these two guys together, I thought to myself, 'Why didn't we make eight of these things?' I believe that after this movie comes out, people are going to be like, 'You can't be serious? You have to do another one, because they're so good!'"
