If you're not sure how you're going to honor Veterans Day this year, this is star-studded event is a great start. A diverse group of actors and musicians are coming together this Sunday to support veterans coping with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The Homeward Bound telethon will feature Kevin Spacey, Jason Bateman, the cast of NCIS including Mark Harmon and more. You can catch any of the four-hour event starting at 7 p.m. on the Military Channel.

Actors Alan Alda and Joe Mantegna will host with singer Connie Francis, the Associated Press reports. Alda served as a gunnery officer in the Korean War, and played a humorous character role as Captain Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce on the Korean War series M*A*S*H.  Francis performed for troops during the Vietnam War. Francis said participating in this telethon " is a 45-year-old dream."

Francis helped establish Haven from the Storm Foundation for veterans in the past two years. Last year, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta considered veteran suicides an "epidemic," as rates hit their highest recorded level. Money raised will go toward the American Red Cross and Wounded Warrior Project.

Musical performances will come from Michael Feinstein, Jazz musician Steve Tyrell, Grammy-award winning singer Patti Austin, Tony Award winner Ben Vereen and others. The executive producer for the event, Gary Smith, has also done past Emmy and Tony Awards ceremonies. It promises to be a highly entertaining and meaningful evening. Look out for other appearances Gloria Loring (Robin Thicke's mother), Lou Diamond Phillips and James Brolin.

Will you tune in?
