Lady Gaga recently fired her longtime manager Troy Carter on the eve of the release of her new 2013 album ARTPOP. The time was definitely strange considering Gaga's new album is set to come out in a matter of hours. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gaga and Carter split due to "creative differences." Now, Gaga needs a new manager, and she allegedly is eying someone with serious credentials.

According to VH1.com, Gaga has her eyes on Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears' manager Larry Rudolph. If this is true, how could one man have enough time to manage Cyrus, Spears, and Gaga!? That would be one impressive resume for Rudolph.

PopCrush reports that Rudolph has managed Spears for quite some time now, guiding her through her early success then again after her highly publicized meltdown. Rudolph reportedly joined Cyrus about a year ago, which means he has been with Cyrus through her edgiest career decisions yet, guiding her through her transition from Disney star to PG-13 star, twerking and all. Now, who knows whose decision it was to have Cyrus twerk on stage with Robin Thicke and stick her tongue out, but either way, Cyrus has never been more popular than she has been over the last year.

Maybe Gaga has noticed that Cyrus has been stealing some of her thunder recently and she wants to regain that. Gaga used to be the singer who would constantly make headlines for her choice of attire, etc. This is not to say Gaga isn't still doing very well, but maybe Gaga is looking to make more headlines, especially with her new highly anticipated album ARTPOP set to be released on Nov. 11. It will be interesting to see who Gaga hires as her next manager and what effect it will have on her career.
