There are some big new rumors, spoilers, news whatever you want to call it from the "Man of Steel" sequel. Fans received some interesting hints about "Man of Steel 2" aka "Batman vs. Superman" during a recent special fan event with director Zack Snyder and Amy Adams. The event hosted by Yahoo allowed fans to submit questions to Snyder and others with the biggest possible reveal involving Superman villain Lex Luthor.

The possible inclusion of Luthor is on a lot of fans minds. There was never ending rumors involving Luthor's possible appearance or hints at an appearance in "Man of Steel." Now with the death of General Zod and the inclusion of the Dark Knight in the second film, where does this leave Luthor?

Screen Crush reports that a fan asked Snyder about Superman's alien heritage which led to a possible spoiler. "At its core, Superman is an alien. He comes from an alien world ... Lex loves to call him an alien," Snyder remarked. The fan event's host, Kevin Smith, then remarked, "That's a spoiler, folks."

It seems to me to be a reach to consider that a spoiler that Luthor will be in the film, but it's certainly an interesting comment. It could possibly be a hint of Luthor's involvement in "Batman vs. Superman."

The Lex Luthor rumors are just the latest in what is sure to be a busy few months of rumors surrounding "Batman vs. Superman." Another recent rumor has Wonder Woman possibly making an appearance in the movie. In a recent interview with Variety Warner Bros. president of creative development and worldwide production, Greg Silverman, certainly didn't deny the rumors.

Variety's Claudia Eller asked Silverman whether Wonder Woman could get her own movie or an appearance in "Batman vs. Superman" and Silverman dodged giving a direct answer. "We are taking it all very seriously and are trying to do a plan that's respectful to those characters and maximizes the stories as best they can," Silverman said. "So everything that has been speculated are things that we've thought about."

Let the rumors continue.
