Adam Levine 'Sexiest Man Alive' 2013: Maroon 5 rocker follows Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, 'People' magazine's official announcement next week [PHOTOS]

According to Gossip Cop, Maroon 5 rocker Adam Levine will be named People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2013. The popular gossip tabloid should announce it's official decision sometime next week.

Last year, Gossip Cop announced that actor Channing Tatum was crowned 2012's "Sexiest Man Alive" more than a week before People came around to doing so. Fans can bet that 34-year-old Levine will be honored this year.

The "Love Somebody" crooner follows in the footsteps of Tatum (2012), Bradley Cooper (2011), and Ryan Reynolds (2010):

The sexy "The Voice" coach has made the list before, but never reached the no. 1 spot. When Gossip Cop reached out to a People rep for confirmation, they said, "We're not commenting on that right now." 

Levine is currently engaged to Namibian Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo. Are fans impressed with People's 2013 choice for "Sexiest Man Alive?"

Again, this is just hearsay... but it makes sense. Levine's had an awesome year, and his band hits the road with Robin Thicke for a tour of Europe in early 2014.

The magazine should make it's official announcement on Nov. 20.
