Season 3 of The X Factor rolled on Thursday night with another results show that featured two eliminations. After last week's voting number fiasco, Simon Cowell's singing competition got back on schedule and pared the show from the Top 12 down to the Top 10.

First, last season's girl group Fifth Harmony took the stage for a performance of Me and My Girls." Then came the first elimination of the night in Cowell's girl group, Sweet Suspense, which received the lowest number of votes this week.

Selena Gomez, who was supposed to perform last week before the whole schedule was thrown into chaos thanks to the voting snafu, then took the stage for a performance. For some reason, we then saw a twerking competition, which Colton from Restless Road won.

Next came the acts sent to safety, which Mario Lopez announced "in no particular order." And they were:

Alex & Sierra

Jeff Gutt

Josh Levi

Lillie McCloud

Carlito Olivero

Tim Olstad

Rion Paige

Restless Road

Ellona Santiago

That left Khaya Cohen and Rachel Potter on the outside looking in and the two were forced to sing for their survival. Cohen went with Solomon Burke's "Don't Give Up on Me" and delivered a powerful rendition of the song. Potter performed Shania Twain's "From This Moment" and it took her a little while to find her footing, but she eventually hit her groove in the second half of the song.

Unfortunately, it was not enough for her, as the judges voted in the following way:

Kelly Rowland: Eliminates Khaya

Paulina Rubio: Eliminates Rachel

Demi Lovato: Eliminates Rachel

Simon Cowell: Eliminates Rachel

And with that, Season 3 of The X Factor is down to the Top 10. What did you think? Did the right act go home? Let us know in the comments below.
