Arguably the biggest college football game of the day will be taking place at 3:30pm ET in Austin, TX. The No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys will go on the road to face the No. 24 ranked Texas Longhorns. Although the Longhorns don't have the same allure that they had five years ago they are still a Big 12 powerhouse after winning six straight games. The Longhorns have yet to lose a game in the Big 12, but they will have to overcome numerous injuries in order to upset the Cowboys. This game may not have national title game implications, but it will go a long way in figuring out the Big 12 championship.

Both teams are coming in hot with the Cowboys riding their own winning streak of five games. Despite their two losses, Texas leads the conference over Baylor and Oklahoma State. Texas won a thriller last week against West Virginia, coming out on top 47-40 in overtime. However, the Longhorns lost running back Johnathan Gray and defensive tackle Chris Whaley to injuries. Gray and Whaley join a growing list of injured Longhorns who have managed to win six straight despite the injuries.

Texas is a half game ahead of Baylor and one game ahead of Oklahoma State for the conference lead.  A win today will make the Longhorns one step closer to a conference championship.

Both the Cowboys and Longhorns sport impressive rushing attacks and the team that can control the clock the best will win. Cowboys running back Desmond Roland has been impressive as of late and I expect a big game from him. At the opening, OddsShark had Oklahoma State as two point favorites. I think Texas' injuries may finally catch up with them today. I think the Cowboys will win convincingly.

Game time is 3:30pm ET as the game will be broadcast on TV on FOX.
