Today's Ford EcoBoost 400 in South Florida is the final race of NASCAR's 2013 Sprint Cup Series. One driver controls his own destiny, in what was a tight race for the top spot leading up to Sunday's race. Jimmie Johnson will once again go into the final race of the Sprint Cup Series with a shot at leaving as the champion. Johnson holds a commanding 28-point lead over Matt Kenseth who will hope for a miracle. It wasn't always such a commanding lead though. Heading into last week's race Johnson and Kenseth were neck and neck.

Johnson has history on his side as only one time in ten years has the driver with the lead in the Sprint Cup Series heading into the final race not emerged the winner. That one time happened to be in 2010 when Johnson was the driver who overcame the leader Denny Hamlin to win the Sprint Cup Series championship.

Going into this afternoon's race Johnson is first in the standings followed by Kenseth. After Kenseth is Kevin Harvick who is 34 points behind Johnson. Rounding out the top five are Kyle Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr. You can get the complete 2013 Sprint Cup Series standings here.

Kenseth won the pole position for today's race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, putting just a little more pressure on Johnson. Following Kenseth will be Kurt Busch, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, and Denny Hamlin. Johnson will start the race in the seventh position with Harvick one spot ahead of him. You can get starting lineup here.

The race will be starting at 3pm ET and will be broadcast on TV on ESPN. There are a number of ways you can follow the action online. First, there is NASCAR's "Press Pass" feature, which you can find here. Second, there is NASCAR's "Race Buddy" feature, which allows fans to watch enhanced coverage of the race. You can find the "Race Buddy" feature here. If those features don't do it for you, you can try NASCAR's "Raceview" feature, which you can find here.
