Sean Penn freak out on fan, paparazzi [VIDEO]: Actor wants privacy, 'I'll make you eat the phone, get the f*ck out of here!' [WATCH]

Celebrities "aren't f*cking zoo animals" - they like their privacy, too.

On Tuesday evening (Nov. 19), "Milk" star Sean Penn was hanging out at San Francisco's popular Lobby Bar at the St. Regis Hotel when another guest tried to sneak a picture with his cell phone. The 53-year-old actor wasn't having it.

According to a TMZ eyewitness, Penn totally freaked out on the fan, yelling "Do we look like f*cking zoo animals!?" That's when the TMZ cameras stepped-in:

Penn chases down the avid fan and exclaims,"I'll make you eat the phone... get the f*ck out of here!!" At one point the Academy Award winner (who was in town to speak at a sales conference) takes the patron's cell phone and slams it on the ground.

Later on in the video, Penn is spotted complaining to hotel management and security. He says, "You should do something about that."

Apparently management later approached the amateur photo to ask if he'd like to call the police. The man declined and promptly left the bar. Evidently the guy wasn't even a member of the paparazzi - he actually attended the sales conference where Penn spoke and was seen wearing his name tag at the time of the confrontation.
