Since being released from prison, Lauryn Hill has been pretty quiet, but the New Jersey songstress recently announced that she's ready to get back to the music. Hill has been out of prison for a little over a month. She served time for tax evasion.

Hill announced that she will be performing at the Bowery Ballroom in New York on November 27. She has planned two concerts for Thanksgiving eve. Her post-prison performances are billed as her "Homecoming tour."

The first show will take place at 6 p.m., the second at 10:30 p.m. Tickets, for both shows, are on sale now. This is an 18 and over event.

Tickets currently available are listed at $106.60 including fees.

If you aren't able to make it to the Bowery Ballroom shows, you're in luck. The former Fugees singer announced that she has added shows to her tour.

The East Coast is in for a treat. Hill has added five dates to her "Homecoming" tour in mid-December. Tickets have not gone on sale for these dates yet.

Check out Lauryn Hill, performing live for the first time since being released from prison on these dates:

Dec. 15: Washington, DC - 9:30 Club

Dec. 18: Boston, MA - Le Royale

Dec. 22: Red Bank, NJ - Count Basie Theatre

Dec. 26: Huntington, NY - The Paramount

Dec. 28: Port Chester, NY - The Capitol Theatre

Who knows, she may even decide to make this a national tour. Would you go see Lauryn Hill perform if she added your city to her tour?
