Rey Mysterio returned at the end of the most recent edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw to save CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and the other babyfaces from The Shield, The Wyatt Family and The Real Americans. But did he come back before he was ready?

The Wrestling Observer reports that Mysterio was not yet ready to return to the ring, but WWE asked him to come back and to wrestle at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday. The theory is that the 10-man elimination tag team match would protect him because he would not have to work as hard as he normally would and risk any further injury. WWE reportedly hopes that featuring Mysterio would convince more people to buy the event.
