Guns, drugs, poison apples, the seedy LA skyline. All these things and more are the feature of Lana Del Rey's hotly anticipated short film Tropico. The movie is coming ever closer to its Dec. 5 release date, and now the "Summertime Sadness" songstress has released an official trailer for the project.

Clocking in at just over one minute, Tropico seems to be a story of sin and redemption for Del Rey against her beloved Beverly Hills.

"You know it's not always gonna be like this, right? So just chill, alright?" Del Rey's bad boy lover says at the beginning of the clip, as she solemnly agrees. Convenience store scenes, wild parties and eventually lots of strippers, drugs and trouble are depicted, meaning that things aren't all glamour in Hollywood.

Directed by Anthony Mandler, Tropico looks to be a totally gorgeous film, with expansive establishing shots and the always beautiful Del Rey as a true badass Nancy Sinatra.

Though the trailer doesn't feature any of Del Rey's music, according to Billboard, Tropico will include three songs from her: "Body Electric," "Gods and Monsters" and "Bel Air."

Watch the Tropico trailer below:

Tropico will debut exclusively on VEVO on Thursday, Dec. 5.
