Pharrell Williams has had a busy 2013, propelling himself back into the spotlight with major collaborations with the likes of Robin Thicke and Daft Punk. In fact, Williams collaborated on two of the most successful songs of the year with Thicke and Daft Punk with "Blurred Lines" and "Get Lucky." The former N.E.R.D.S performer is having himself maybe the greatest year of his career as he continues to evolve as performer. Now, Williams is going out of 2013 with a bang with the release of the world' first 24-hour interactive music video for his song "Happy."

Pharrell's contribution to the "Despicable Me 2" soundtrack is a catchy and fun song and the music video only adds to the positive vibe. The music video for "Happy" is streaming on 24hoursofhappy.com, but there are various non-interactive four-hour versions on YouTube, one of which you can watch below, that gives you an idea of what to expect.

The interactive video features a number of celebrities such as Steve Carrell, Magic Johnson, and others lip-synching along to "Happy." Viewers can use a clock on the screen to watch in "real-time" or choose a time of day to skip to. The video is fun, interactive, and may lead to a new evolution of music videos. Whether you like the song or not, although it's hard not to feel happy when listening to "Happy," you have to admit the music video is a lot of fun. In fact, the music video is addictive as you can find yourself playing around with the clock for a long time. Next thing you know you have listened to "Happy" a dozen times.

You really could spend hours watching the interactive version and skipping around to different day parts, watching the various different scenes. You can watch the non-interactive YouTube version below, but I highly recommend going to 24hoursofhappy.com to check out the interactive version.
