It took 48 years, but it was well worth the wait. Rock legend Bob Dylan finally made a music video for his classic 1965 song "Like A Rolling Stone." Created by digital agency Interlude, the interactive video works like a TV where viewers can actually change "channels" and watch different TV personalities and hosts lip-synching the song. The video is very much like another interactive video just released from Pharrell Williams for his single "Happy." Which one came first? It doesn't matter because both are innovative and awesome.

There are 16 channels in total featuring shows such as "The Price Is Right" and "Pawn Stars" along with a tennis match, a children's cartoon, BBC News, Dylan himself and more. Personalities such as Drew Carey and Marc Maron are among those making guest appearances. The video is addicting and fun for viewers who can waste an hour away just watching the different channels and lip-synch interpretations of "Like A Rolling Stone."

The video has been garnering quite a bit of buzz, putting Dylan's name back in the music headlines just in time for the release of his box set The Complete Album Collection Volume 1, which contains 35 albums! Dylan couldn't have asked for better promotion for the album. Most of today's artists seek promotion through scandal or gossip sites. Dylan was able to get his name back in the headlines through an innovative new way, based on the profession for which he works. No gossip, no scandal, just quality entertainment. It looks like Pharrell and Dylan may be paving the way for future music stars.

Yoni Bloch, the CEO of Interlude Studios, told Rolling Stone that the video had close to a million unique visitors on the first day. The official interactive video can be seen on BobDylan.com here.
