Miley Cyrus' Birthday Burglary

So, Miley's 21st birthday didn't get off the the grandest start of all time. Apparently, the Bangerz singer's home was burglarized on Friday night.

The break-in occurred Friday afternoon in Studio City - one day before her b-day - when the thief somehow gained access to Miley's pad ... and made off with some jewelry.

It's unclear how the crook (or crooks) got inside the house ... but cops say they're currently investigating how it all went down.

Miley wasn't home when the burglary occurred (and neither was anyone else, according to initial reports).

Miley Cyrus celebrated being able to drink legally by taking over MTV for a day and hosting a series of specials about herself. The "23" singer counted down the top 21 Miley moments before replaying her Miley: The Movement documentary. 

After that, the programming switched over to Cyrus-curated episodes of MTV staples like Snooki & JWoww and Awkward.

Miley has had two major moments on the network this year, the first being her raunchy VMA performance and the second being her obviously lighting up a joint at the EMAs.
