The Hulk has finally gotten his hands on the script for the 2015 blockbuster superhero sequel The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Mark Ruffalo posted on Twitter on Monday that he has read the script for The Avengers 2. Here's exactly what he had to say:

"Okay. Just got the New Avengers Script. And I am going to read it now. I hope Banner/Hulk are represented. @Marvel @josswhedon. Fingers X'd."

The most important takeaway from all this is that Ruffalo confirmed that the Age of Ultron script actually exists and is, presumably, finished. Whedon has said that he has been hard at work on the script, and now we know the status of the script. There's no news yet on the representation of Bruce Banner/The Hulk, but time will tell.

In other Age of Ultron news, Marvel Studios officially confirmed on Monday that Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen would play brother and sisterQuicksilver and Scarlet Witch, respectively, in the film.

The announcement was unsurprising to anyone who followed the casting news, as Taylor-Johnson and Olsen had spoken repeatedly about the parts and their names had been linked the roles for months. All that was left was the official announcement.

Quicksilver will also appear in the upcoming superhero blockbuster X-Men: Days of Future Past but will be played by Evan Peters (American Horror Story). Fox owns the rights to the X-Men franchise, so Marvel Studios cannot make reference to the fact that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are mutants, nor can Marvel mention that Magneto is their father.
