The 87th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place today and started at New York's 77th St. and Central Park West at 9 a.m. EST. It is being aired on NBC and streaming live online for those who can't make it, or just don't want to stand out in the cold.

Many different stars will join the festivities today along with the floats throughout the day. Ariana Grande will be singing some of her hits on Nickelodeon's Dora The Explorer float. Fall Out Boy will be rockin out on the Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles float.

NBC Today show's Matt Lauer Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie are hosting the parade that stretches 2.5 miles. For the television broadcast, fans can see country singer Brett Eldrege sing his hit 'Don't Ya' while those on the New York streets will get to see a longer set including "Beat Of The Music", "Mean To Me" and "Bring You Back".

Teen pop star Austin Mahone is also performing at the parade, and he took to Facebook before the event to share his excitement. "I'M PERFORMING AT THE Macy's THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE!!! #MACYSPARADE Who's going to watch???!?"

Kellie Pickler will be on the NHL float, and Carrie Underwood will join her cast from "Sound Of Music Live!" Newly wed Cher Lloyd will also take time out of her busy schedule to join the event. She is currently in New York to work on her second studio album Sorry I'm Late, which is planned to be due out in the New Year.
