In case your turkey dinner sent you straight into a coma, it was impossible to miss the fact that yesterday Americans all across the country sat down with family to some delicious turkey and stuffing.

So, this week's edition of Best Celebrity Instagrams will feature the best of Turkey Day!

Some celebrities, like Lady Gaga, are far from home this holiday season. Though ABC aired Lady Gaga and The Muppets Holiday Spectacular last night, the Mother Monster herself was actually in Tokyo promoting her new album ARTPOP yesterday. However, she still snapped a picture of her untraditional Thanksgiving meal.

Of course, though, some celebs went back to the basics for Thanksgiving. Oprah cooked up come disturbingly good looking sweet potatoes.

Katie Couric was kind enough to bring desert (with tons of pumpkin pie!):

Even Lindsay Lohan put aside her bad girl ways with her traditional Thanksgiving meal.

The houses of the rich and famous were all decked out for the holiday. Neil Patrick Harris snapped a photo of his hubby's super elaborate cornucopia, full of fresh veggies.

And Kourtney Kardashian got creative with a Thanksgiving tree.

In the end though, Thanksgiving is all about spending time with family. Mariah Carey posted a beautiful picture of her family (husband Nick Cannon and children Roc and Roe) in the middle of their pecan pie making.

Katy Perry snapped this shot of a family member rocking some sweet turkey attire!

In the end, though, Girls star Lena Dunham had the right idea. Homegirl wiper her plate straight clean!
