Director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) has revealed a few details about his upcoming film Jurassic World on Twitter. Apparently, the film will be set quite a ways in the future from the original Jurassic Park film and Trevorrow expects the film to stand alongside the original, in terms of quality,

"Reboot is a strong word," he said, ng to the term commonly attached to the project. "This is a new sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park."

Trevorrow co-wrote World (originally titled Jurassic Park 4) and will direct the blockbuster sequel while Steven Speilberg hangs on as executive producer. If Trevorrow is feeling the pressure of adapting a movie so dear to many moviegoers' hearts, he's not showing it.

"We don't want to create a new scoop here, but we definitely want to honor what came before us," Trevorrow said in an interview earlier this year. "We are very aware of how much a certain generation especially cares about this movie and we talk about it all the time and really the conversation is: It's not about us, it's not about our careers, it's how do we make something that can stand with the first one."

Jurassic World (barring any setbacks) will be in theaters June 12, 2015.
